Discovery Coast 1770 Festival celebrated each May to commemorate landing of Lt James Cook in 1770. Come celebrate the birthplace of Queensland.

Friday Night the Festival will kick off with an Art Show, followed by a Comedy Night at Ocean Beach Resort and Kahuna’s Bar. Loads of Fun!

Saturday is huge! On the magnificent 1770 Foreshore, starting with a Street Parade. Throughout the day there will be a reenactment of Lt James Cook & Crew landing on our shores, with a full venue of bands, rides, stalls, food, sand modelling, plus heaps more until midnight.
